Directional Drill Bit Specialist

Dean Skaggs-Owner/Inventor

Our Company manufactures two Patented Directional Boring Bits, for Directional Drilling and Directional Boring.  The Power Point and the Bore Hawg that have become very popular throughout the U.S. and Canada for the past 15 years and are sold by many of dealers all over the U.S and Canada as well.  Our bits are often refered to as The Blue Bit, Duck Bills, rock bits, boring heads, drill bits, shoes, & blades.  Please give us a call and ask about our Trial Offer for new customers.

The Power Point  bit is a specially designed bit with a tapered end and a pull hole for easier pull back.  There are Carbide "nubs" around the sides and front of the bit.  This bit is made from specially formulated steel, a higher quality than what our competitors use.  Many have tried to copy the  Power Point  but none have succeeded.  We have just added a new line of Heavy Duty Power Points including the Six Shooter and 100x120 for Vermeer and the Big Ditch Witch 6 for the JT100, JT8020 and JT7020.

Conditions for the Power Point :  some of the conditions our customers have told us our bits will go through are Limestone, Cobble, Granite, Clay, Hard and soft Dirt, Steel Reinforced Manholes, River Rock, Sand, Beach Conditions, Coral, Hard Rock and a mixture of these conditions.

The Bore Hawg, the original bit designed by Dean Skaggs, has a flat end and the pull hole also.  There are Carbide "nubs" around the sides and front of the bit.

Conditions for the Bore Hawg are milder than the Power Point.  Some of the conditions our customers have mentioned to us are Limestone, dirt, sand, clay & swampy conditions.

Users of our Directional Bits:      Plumbers, Underground Utility Installation including Fiber Optics, Cable Line, Telephones, Sewer Lines, Gas Lines, Electrical and Wire, Conduit & Innerduct Installers, Utility Contractors, Boring Contractors, Directional Boring Contractors, Earth Boring Contractors, Drilling Contractors and Trenching Contractors.

Please give us a call and ask about our Test Offer for new customers.
